The Full Story

Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. Since taking my first graphic design and journalism classes in high school, I knew I was passionate about media and creating content. My first editing experience came from serving as the Design Editor for my high school literary magazine.

I continued to pursue this dream in college, receiving my  B.A. in Communications and Graphic Design. After college, I decided to pursue my other passion, international travel. I moved to Seoul, South Korea to teach ESL, and later to Hong Kong. After a total of four years in Asia, I moved to New York, NY. I resumed my career in the digital space by working for an international beauty brand on their web content team. Within this role, I was able to travel internationally and work with teams all over the world.

After gaining experience in New York, I decided to return to South Carolina. I worked as a Content Developer and Strategist for a digital marketing agency while pursuing my M.Ed. in Education Technology from the University of South Carolina. After finishing graduate school I moved to Australia to travel for several months.

Since returning stateside, I have made my permanent home in Chapin, South Carolina. I have previously held positions at the SC Department of Education and Prisma Hospital to create educational content. I currently work for a group of colleges as an Instructional Designer. My current career goal is to continue to challenge myself as a designer, and make positive contributions to the learning and development community.
